Way down in Louisiana (Cajun country), Boudreaux and Thibodeaux was football fans. Dey favorite team, of course, was da LSU Tigres frum Baton Rouge, LA.

Dey always try to go to as many home game as dey can.

One Satiday night, Thibodeaux had ta work so Boudreaux din hav nobody to go to da game wit him so he ax his wife, Marie, if she would like to go wit him.

Now, Mare, her, she din know nuttin bout no football, but she decide to go jut to be wit Boudreaux on a Satidy night.

After da game was over an dey was on dey way home, Boudreux ax, “Marie,mah Chere, how did ya like you firs football game in Tigre Stadium?”

Marie say, “Ah like it a lot, but one ting ah don’t understand. Why was all dem fellas trying to kill each udder fa 25 cents?”

Boudreaux say, “Wat do you mean, dey was tryin to kill each udder fa 25 cents?”

“Ah don’t know”, Marie, say, “All ah know is everybody on da fiel was beatin each udder up an everybody in da stans was hollerin, “Get da quarter back! Ge da quarter back!”
