Lagniappe Salad

4 stalks of broccoli
1/2 cup chopped red onions
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup chopped cashews
10 slices of bacon, cooked and crumbled
1 cup of mayonnaise
1/2 cup sugar
2 tablespoons vinegar
Chop the broccoli into bite size pieces. Discard the stalks. Combine broccoli pieces, red onion, cheese and cashews. Mix the mayonnaise, sugar and vinegar for the dressing. Pour dressing over salad and mix together thoroughly. Sprinkle bacon pieces on the top and store in the refrigerator. Serves 6 to 8.
