Agnes Robertson Stewart

ST. MARTINVILLE — Services will be conducted for Mrs. Agnes Stewart, age 84, the former Agnes Robertson, at 11 a.m. Monday at Notre Dame Catholic Church. Interment will be in Queen of Peace cemetery.

Visitation will be at Funeral Home Chapel from 7 a.m. until time of services on Monday. A Rosary will be recited at Funeral Home Chapel at 10 a.m. Monday.

A native and lifelong resident of St. Martinville, she passed on January 7, 2014, at 9:50 p.m.

She is survived by four sons Wilbert Stewart Sr. of Abbeville, Raymond Stewart Sr., Wilson Stewart and Nelson Stewart, all of St. Martinville; one daughter Juanita Drake of St. Martinville; one brother Milton Robertson of St. Martinville; one sister Nita Mae Robertson of St. Martinville; 16 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by parents, Philbert Robertson Sr. and Una Robertson Davis; four brothers Adam Robertson, Clay Robertson, Elton Robertson and Philbert Robertson Jr.; and four sisters Eva Robertson, Velma Robertson, Lena Clement and Mary Ann Robertson.

Pallbearers will be Nelson Stewart, Royal Drake Jr., Kevin Stewart, Brian Stewart, Raymond Stewart Jr. and Remington Stewart.

Honorary pallbearers are Wilbert Stewart Sr., Raymond Stewart Sr., Wilson Stewart, Royal Drake Sr., Milton Robertson, June Robertson, Byron Cretin Sr. and Joseph Aguillard.

The Golden Meadows Funeral Home of St. Martinville in charge of arrangements.
