Graveside services will be at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, March 29, 2014, at Beau Pre Cemetery in Jeanerette for Edith “Terry” Vice, 60, who died on Thursday, March 27, 2014, in New Iberia.
A gathering of family and friends will be Friday from 3:30 p.m. until 9 p.m. at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia. A Rosary will be prayed at 6:30 p.m. Friday. Visitation will continue Saturday from 8 a.m. until 9 a.m.
A native and lifelong resident of New Iberia, Mrs. Vice was born on November 29, 1953, and was a graduate of New Iberia Senior High School. She retired from Thibodeaux and Son Salvage after many years of service, and enjoyed cooking and baking.
Survivors include her husband, Curlis “Boy” Vice, of New Iberia; son Alex Romero III of New Iberia; brothers Wayne Thibodeaux Sr. and wife, Brenda, of New Iberia and Tim Thibodeaux and wife, Belinda, of New Iberia; sister Charlene Colley of Lafayette; sister-in-law Wilda Thibodeaux of Delcambre; grandchildren Alex “Beau” Romero IV of New Iberia and Kylie Romero of Florida; and a great-granddaughter Liv.
She was preceded in death by her father, L.J. Thibodeaux; her mother, Eunice Thibodeaux; and a brother Kenneth Thibodeaux.
Pallbearers will be Wayne Thibodeaux Jr., Chance Louviere, Travis Thibodeaux, Beau Romero, Louis Thibodeaux and Mary Lynn Vincent.
Honorary pallbearers include Wayne Thibodeaux Sr. and Tim Thibodeaux.
