Senator and Mrs. Robert Allain II of Adeline announce the engagement of their daughter Quin Elise Allain to Marshall Harrison Bixler, son of Walter Gaillard Bixler Sr. of Orange Beach, Ala., and Lindsay Trawick Bixler of Mobile, Ala.

The wedding will be held April 26, 2014, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Jeanerette.

The bride-elect is a 2007 graduate of Louisiana State University. She received a Doctorate of Medicine from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in 2011. She is in her third year of residency in New Orleans and plans to practice obstetrics and gynecology in Mobile.

The prospective groom is a graduate of St. Paul’s Episcopal School in Mobile. In 2005, he received a Bachelor of Science in Hotel and Restaurant Management from Auburn University. He resides in New Orleans where he manages a restaurant.
