COTEAU — A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 29, 2014, at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Coteau for Mia Elizabeth DeRouen, 4, who died Tuesday, March 25, 2014, in Houma.

Entombment will follow in the church mausoleum.

The Rev. Barry Crochet will be the celebrant.

A gathering of family and friends will be Friday from 4 p.m. until 9 p.m. at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia. A Rosary will be prayed at 6:30 p.m. Friday. Visitation will continue Saturday from 8 a.m. until 10 a.m.

Survivors include her parents, Megan Touchet and Christopher DeRouen; grandparents, Melissa Touchet of Coteau, Kenny Touchet of Coteau, Richard DeRouen and wife, Liz, of New Iberia and Angela Piel of New Iberia; great-grandparents, Loanna Touchet of Coteau, Olan and Juanita Credeur of Scott; great-aunt Michelle Griffin and husband, James Griffin Jr., of Abbeville; uncle Jude Touchet of Coteau; great-uncle Kim Credeur and wife, Amy, of Mire; great-aunt Debbie Romero and husband, Steve, of Coteau; great-uncle Randy Touchet and wife, Maureen, of Coteau; uncle Jonathan Piel of Belle Chase; aunt Christina DeRouen of Houma; and numerous cousins.

She was preceded in death by her great-grandfather Lenis Touchet.
