Triniti Bulliard and Alese Jones, both of New Iberia, were recognized by the Louisiana School for Math, Science and the Arts during the school’s annual matriculation ceremony held recently at the A.A. Fredericks Auditorium located on the campus at Northwestern State University in Natchitoches.

The school welcomed 142 new students during the school’s ceremony.

The ceremony recognized students’ accomplishments, reinforced their commitment to LSMSA and encouraged them to apply the necessary diligence to persevere until reaching commencement.

Recognized guests included Lee Posey, mayor of Natchitoches and Sen. Mike Walsworth, R-West Monroe.
