Golden’s Memoir subtitled, “Life, Love and Art in the French Quarter,” delivers exactly that: the period of his life from 1955 at the end of his Navy tour, his marriage to his beautiful Stella, his daughters and his 1976 one-man exhibition in Russia. He’s nationally recognized and the winner of many prestigious awards. If you’re not familiar with his wonderful watercolors, you’ll become a fan once you’ve viewed the book’s marvelous collection of 64 color prints and 100 black and white photos and artwork. He also delightfully recollects meeting Stella while on leave from the Navy and learning they lived right across the street from each other.

Caution! You’re about to enter the laugh zone of Fred Stoller and may experience severe side pains from laughter. You’ve probably seen Fred on “Everybody Loves Raymond” where he’s had one of his longest gigs. Usually, he just lives “The Life of a Perennial TV Guest Star” as his memoir is sub-titled. His biggest laughs come from his own experiences not only as an actor but a comedy writer. He wrote for Seinfeld for a year and offers a peek into his creative process. Next time you see him on TV you’ll certainly want to have him back.
