A Texas counterfeiter made a mistake while printing some money one day and made a bunch of $12.00 bills. They looked so good he did not want to throw them away. He was trying to figure out where in the world he could pass them off. He looked on a map and found the little community of Forked Island, Louisiana which was a few miles south of Kaplan in the marsh country.

That is the perfect place to try and pass his “mistakes” off. So, off he goes to Forked Island. Once he gets there he notices the only thing around is Sostans Bar and Grocery store. He decides to give to a whirl. He goes in and notices an old man with a pair of overalls on and a khaki shirt, but no shoes. This is the place he thought.

He walks up to the counter and says “Excuse me do you have any change for a $12.00 bill?”

The old man looks at him for a minute then says, “Ma’ sure, what you want 4 threes, 3 fours or 2 sixes?”
