Natasha Lanaé Mouton and Dakari Lysanders Morris were married Saturday, April 4, 2015, at the West St. Mary Civic Center. The bride is the daughter of Brendell Joseph and Curley Mouton Sr. of New Iberia. The groom is the son of Gilda Bernard and Jacob Volter of New Iberia.

The Rev. Anderson Clay Sr. officiated the 4 p.m. ceremony.

The bride wore an ivory-colored mermaid wedding gown with a long train accented with beaded rhinestones and a pearl sash.

She carried a bouquet of calla lilies accented with pearls and lace.

Serving as maid of honor was Ta Mouton. Bridesmaids were Ashauntay Brooks, Carlisa Brooks, Christina Charles, Anissa Gage, Kimberly Joseph, Brittney Nathan, Latonya Segura and Layce Spencer. Junior bride was Alyicia Beals. Junior bridesmaids were Aaliyah Joseph, Ja’Niya Mouton and Taleiqua Noel. The flower girl was Jasmine Copeland. Ring bearer was De’Kaylin Morris.

Serving as best man was Byron Hypolite. Groomsmen were Charles Babineaux, Ian Journet, Kendrick Jeanlouis, Travis Lewis, Schealyn Morris, Curley Mouton, Carlos Thomas and Gerald Broussard. Junior groom was Amari Beals. Junior groomsmen were Avant Ledet, DeAndré Walcott and DeVontray Washington.

Carless Thomas and Zy’Kendrick Morris served as ushers.

A reception for family and friends was held at the West St. Mary Civic Center.

Following a wedding trip to Pensacola, Florida, the couple will reside in New Iberia.
