LeBlanc — Howell

Brittney Nichole LeBlanc and Richard Howell II were married Saturday, April 23, 2016, at The Victorian Plantation in Broussard. The bride is the daughter of Quince LeBlanc and Michelle Romero of Erath. The groom is the son of Richard Howell and Sharon Dautreuil of New Iberia.

The Rev. Kevin Phillips officiated the evening ceremony.

Escorted by her father, the bride wore an ivory-colored off-the-shoulder layered lace trumpet gown with a sweeping train and silver accents.

She carried a hand-held bouquet of ivory-colored garden and spray roses with a variety of silver broach accents wrapped in ivory-colored ribbon. The bouquet was adorned with her maternal great-grandmother’s rosary along with a rosary from her high school friend, the late Tyler Arceneaux.

Serving as matron of honor was Chandra Breaux and as maid of honor was Chelsea Petrolia. Bridesmaids were Rachael Howell, sister of the groom, Leah DesOrmeaux, Haley Broussard, aunt of the bride, Lane Broussard, aunt of the bride, Angella Roberts, sister of the bride and Shawntel Moore. Flower girl was Alix George, niece of the groom. Ring bearers were Griffin LeBlanc and Pierce LeBlanc, cousins of the bride.

Serving as best man was Richard Howell, father of the groom. Groomsmen were Trey George, godchild/nephew of the groom, Ryan Sigur, Rodney Louviere Jr., Chris Plessala, Eric Roy, cousin of the bride, and Brett Lee.

A reception for family and friends was held at The Victorian Plantation in Broussard.

Following a wedding trip to St. John, U.S. Virgin Islands, the couple will reside in New Iberia.
