Landry — Hanudel

Marcy Elizabeth Landry and Matthew Wayne Hanudel were married Saturday, April 16, 2016, at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in New Iberia. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward P. Landry Sr. of New Iberia. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Mark Andrew Hanudel of Lake Charles.

The Rev. Keith J. DeRouen officiated the ceremony.

Escorted by her father, the bride wore an ivory-colored Alecon lace over antique Italian satin gown with a bateau neckline, A-line skirt and satin sash. The V-back met with satin covered buttons that cascaded down the length of the gown along with hand beaded crystal clusters. The cathedral length train was traditionally bustled.

She carried a cascading bouquet of ivory-colored roses and hydrangeas accented with blush peonies.

Serving as maid of honor was Emily Louise Landry, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Frances Dauterive Forrette, Elyse Dianne Bower, Kyla Danyelle Joubert, Katie Hanudel Miles, Sarah Duhon Queck and K’anne Cash Arthur. Flower girls were Ainsley Claire Andrepont, Emma Noelle Breaux and Adelyn Katherine Stulb. Ring bearer was Alexander Prescott McCarty.

Serving as best man was Edward Moreland Ellington III. Groomsmen were Andrew Newlin McCall, John Lepick Dampf, Joshua Michael Fontenot, William Devin Seale, Jason David Pou and Edward Paul Landry Jr.

Micah James Lillich, William Stirling Harper, Michael Thomas Landry and Travis Richard Kruger served as ushers.

A reception for family and friends was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Landry Sr. in New Iberia.

Following a wedding trip to the Maldives Islands in the Indian Ocean, the couple will reside in Shreveport.
