Courtney Reneé Sonnier and Logan Jacob Primeaux were married Friday, June 10, 2016, at Rip Van Winkle Gardens in New Iberia. The bride is the daughter of the late Jacenda Sonnier of New Iberia. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Primeaux of Erath.
Justice of the Peace Johnny Choate officiated the 7 p.m. ceremony.

Escorted by her grandfather, Carlton Migues, and uncle, Robert Derouen, the bride wore a fit and flaire gown with a soft sweetheart neckline enhanced by sheer lace cap sleeves that flowed into a keyhole back. Ivory-colored lace appliqués cascaded on tulle over a sleek blush taffeta and the skirt finished with a semi-cathedral train and scalloped lace hemline.
For her headpiece, she wore a rhinestone and filigree halo worn with a light gold, raw-edge fingertip veil.
She carried a bouquet of roses, green mini-hydrangea, peach-colored miniature roses and hypericum berry accented with baby’s breath and monte casino flowers wrapped in antique lace ribbon. Her mother’s rosary and photo were pined to the bouquet.
Serving as maid of honor was her aunt, Jill Derouen. Bridesmaids were Erica Martin, Kylie Quibodeaux, Kim Perez, Ali Guidry and Keeley Judice, cousin of the bride. Junior bridesmaid was Emma Claire Derouen, godchild of the bride. Flower girls were Adia Sonnier, niece of the bride, and Kallie Martin. Ring bearers were Ryder James Primeaux, godchild of the groom, and Wyatt Jude Primeaux, nephew of the groom.
Serving as best man was Waylon Quibodeaux. Groomsmen were Rusty Primeaux, brother of the groom, Phillip Domingues, Nick Newman, Ryan Romero and Cody Dugas.
Brodie Sonnier, brother of the bride, Ross Morgan and Victor Martin served as ushers.

A reception for family and friends was held at Rip Van Winkle Gardens in New Iberia.
Following a wedding trip to Sandals Grande St. Lucia, the couple will reside in Erath.
