Willie Mae Collins and Curley Vallaire Jr. were married Saturday, May 28, 2016, at Steamboat Pavilion in New Iberia. The bride is the daughter of the late Morris Jones and the late Joanne Walker Arceneaux. The groom is the son of Curley and Wilda Mae Vallaire Sr. of Eunice.

The Rev. Sharon Jones officiated the 6 p.m. ceremony.

Escorted by her uncle, Jimmy Walker, and her son, James Smith, the bride wore an A-line princess gown with flora sheer overlay accented with crystal beads and pearls.

For her headpiece, she wore a tiara with pearls accented with crystal beads.

She carried a bouquet of fuschia and off-white roses with pearls and rhinestones splash royal blue ribbon.

Serving as matron of honor was Karen Kinchen and Rhonda Vital and as maid of honor was Natasha Smith. Bridesmaids were Bessie Walker, Sommers Walker, Casandra Charles, Flora Locks, Laura Grubbs, Laquanda Latulas, Ruthie Hill, Lena Hill, Lucille Walker, Rhonisha Walker and Barbra Norber. Junior bridesmaid was Rhondasha Walker and Ashanta Walker. Flower girl was Amari Jackson. Ring bearer was Bralyn Smith and Brandon Smith.

Serving as best men was Charles Walker, Floyd Smith and Jerry Kincher. Groomsmen were Quincy Charles, Dwayne Walker, Larry Hill, Olivier Walker, Larry Thomas, Rakeem Vallaire, Curley Vallaire III and Chuckie Janice. Junior groomsmen were Quincy Walker and Altaven Walker.

A reception for family and friends was held at the Hampton Inn in New Iberia.

Following a wedding trip to Destin, Florida, the couple will reside in New Iberia.
