Alexis Ann Duplantis and Ray Joseph Romero III were married Friday, June 3, 2016, St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Loreauville. The bride is the daughter of Paul and Laura Duplantis of Loreauville. The groom is the son of Ray Romero Jr. and Tammy Romero of New Iberia.
The Rev. Ed Degeyter officiated the 6:30 p.m. ceremony.

Escorted by her father, the bride wore a slim-line lace gown featuring high mandarin keyhole back and fish-tail train with scalloped edging.
For her headpiece, she wore a simple two-tiered fingertip veil with crystals sprinkled throughout.
She carried a clutch bouquet of all white flowers including hydrangeas, ranunculus, lisianthus and anemones with English ivy and seeded eucalypus.
Serving as matron of honor was Lanie Kipp and as maid of honor was Lacy Duplantis. Bridesmaids were Madeline Duplantis, Stephanie Castille, Margo Doumit, Emily Duplantis, Kayla Morrison and Kourtni Romero. Flower girls were Faith Doucet and Isabella Heitman. Ring bearer was Collin Kipp.
Serving as best man was Ray Romero Jr. Groomsmen were Brock Romero, Travis Duplantis, Matt Naquin, Derrick Doumit, Dalton Ray, Lance Tauzin and Luke Burgardt.
Taylor Romero and Kaleb Albert served as ushers.

A reception for family and friends was held at the Cade Community Center in Cade.
Following a wedding trip to Montego Bay, Jamaica, the couple will reside in New Iberia.
