Verret — Jackson

Sharon Jackson and Arthur “Artie” Verret Jr. were married Saturday, May 28, 2016, at 9 a.m. at Our Lady of Nativity Catholic Church in New Iberia.

Sharon is the daughter of the late Jeanette and Melvin Jackson. Artie is the son of the late Genevieve V. Belanger and Arthur L. Verret Sr.

Rev. Ed Degeyter officiated the ceremony.

The bride was attended by her son Amos Joseph from Santa Cruz, California.

The groom was attended by his daughter Jamie L. Verret of Washington, D.C., formerly of New Iberia.

Molly, Morgan and Emma Rowell, the bride’s great-nieces, served as flower girls.

The couple will reside in New Iberia.
