Ellen Grace Taylor and Daniel Lee Parker were married Friday, May 27, 2016, at Church of the Assumption in Franklin. The bride is the daughter of Joel and Paula Taylor of Franklin. The groom is the son of Derris “Lynn” Parker and Kay Parker of Spring, Texas.

The Rev. Lloyd Benoit and Rev. Jeremiah Shryock officiated the 6:30 p.m. ceremony.

Escorted by her father, the bride wore a slim fit and flare gown made of soft ivory-colored lace featuring a scoop neckline and off the shoulder cap sleeves with a pearl and crystal embellished sash at her waistline. The backline flowed into a deep V-shape with cascading covered buttons and a chapel train featuring scalloped lace at the hem.

She carried a bouquet of white ranunculus, green hypericum berries, white O’Hara roses, bells of Ireland, peach stock and seeded eucalyptus.

Serving as maid of honor was Emily Taylor, cousin of the bride. Bridesmaids were Rachel Gerke, sister-in-law of the bride and sister of the groom, Amanda Taylor, sister-in-law of the bride, Molly Taylor, sister-in-law of the bride, Frances Lancon, Michelle Mobley and Emma Dugas. Flower girl was Ella Taylor, niece of the bride and groom. Ring bearers were Liam Taylor and Sean Taylor, nephews of the bride and groom.

Serving as best man was Taylor Odlozil. Groomsmen were Brad Gerke, brother-in-law of the groom, Evan Taylor, brother-in-law of the groom and brother of the bride, Michael Mobley, Sam Chambi, Chandler Scheuermann and Ross Durkee.

Seth Taylor, Zach Taylor and Ian Taylor, brothers of the bride, served as ushers.

A reception for family and friends was held at a family home.
