Jones — Lewis

Lisa Marie Jones and Troy Lewis were married Saturday, June 18, 2016, at St. Paul United Methodist Church of Christ in New Iberia. The bride is the daughter of the late Wickless and Hazel Anthony Jones. The groom is the son of the late Truly Mae Lewis and the late Joseph Paul and Wilfred Placide.

The Rev. Joseph C. Noahue officiated the 2 p.m. ceremony.

Escorted by her brother, Michael Jones, the bride wore a white lace gown beaded throughout with crystals and pearls.

For her headpiece, she wore a handmade, three-layer veil attached to a white stone and pearl comb.

She carried a bouquet of white roses with baby’s breath and pearls.

Serving as matrons of honor were Gertie Thibodeaux, sister-in-law of the bride, and Monica Butler and as maids of honor were Laura Jones and Joyce Jones, sisters of the bride. Bridesmaids were Devonda Lopez, Voneisha Doucet, Shekia Garett, Natasha Etienne, Nachedia Tucker, Rita Tauriac, Tyiesha Charles, Kendaisia Jones, Jacheia Johnson, daughter of the groom, Venus Jones and Edith Moore. Miniature bride was Tynella Hensley. Flower girls were Cadance Garett, Mckenzie Tucker and Jordan Jones. Ring bearer was Christian Gardner and bell ringer was Cierra Charles.

Serving as best men were Chad Lopez, Tyrone Johnson, Demon Thomas and Mose Gatterson. Groomsmen were Ron Baily, Geroge Jones, Patrick Jones, William Tucker, Charles Garett, Jermaine Etienne, Anthony Franks and Kendavion Jones. Miniature groom was Torraine Jones. The groom was escorted by his father, Wilfred Placide.

A reception for family and friends was held at the Inn of Iberia in New Iberia.

The couple will reside in New Iberia.
