Laureano — Malbrue

Yaritza Emarie Serrano Laureano and Raphael Anthony Malbrue were married Friday, Aug. 5, 2016, at Cathedral of San Juan Bautista, Old San Juan, Puerto Rico. The bride is the daughter of Evelyn Laureano Serrano and Rafael A. Serrano of Chile Vega Baga, Puerto Rico. She is the granddaughter Aurea Gonzalez of Puerto Rico and the late Pedro Serrano, the late Angel A. Laureano and Jose A. Laureano. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Tyrone Anthony and Eleanor Malbrue of Baton Rouge. He is the grandson of Joyce Mae Dorsey Williams of New Iberia and the late David Joseph Williams Sr. and Myrtle Henry Malbrue of Sunset and the late Clifton Malbrue.

Deacon Jose del Rio officiated the ceremony.

Serving as matron of honor was Paola Ortiz and as maid of honor was Evelyn Cortes. Bridesmaids were Evelyn Cortes, Paola Ortiz, Nahomi Rivera, Karen Espino, Leslie Montanez, Skyla Williams, Maria Ines Lugo, Walnelis Rivera, Breyon Dixon and Lee Ann Vidal. Flower girls Alexa Marin and Fabiana Serrano. Ring bearer was Wil Yadiel Camacho.

Serving as best men were Ryan Burke and Trailon Johnson. Groomsmen were Rafael E. Serrano, Boriss Losso, Jason Peters, Nicholas Fisher, Brian Lumpkins, Jeremy Tinsley, Elijah Zehyoue, Kevin Cunningham Jr., Byron Smith and Jonathan Bailey.

Jordimar Rodriguez, Michael Williams and Jahquill Ross served as ushers.

A reception for family and friends was held at Hotel El Convento, Old San Juan, Puerto Rico.

Following a wedding trip to Belize, the couple will reside in Baton Rouge.
