Mrs. James McGregor Fisher

Allison Marie Lahasky and James McGregor Fisher were married Saturday, June 24, 2017, at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in New Iberia. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Lahasky of New Iberia. The groom is the son of Mrs. Mary Fisher of Kensington, Maryland, and the late Mr. Peter Fisher.

The Rev. Mark Miley officiated the 6:30 p.m. ceremony.

Escorted by her father, the bride wore a fit and flare gown made of ivory embroidered Venetian lace that flowed to the hem of the dress. The back of the dress featured a key hold back surrounded by embroidered lace and soft tulle. Beautifully covered satin buttons cascaded gently down the illusion tulle back and disappeared into a grand chapel length scalloped lace train.

She carried a bouquet of cascading white roses and hydrangea accents wrapped with her late grandmother’s rosary.

Serving as maid of honor was Morgan Lahasky. Bridesmaids were Sydney Lahasky, Taylor Lahasky, Leah Fisher, Kelsey Matthiesen, Morgan Comeaux, Claire Cousin, Molly Molbert, Malyne Peak and Grace Garfinkel. Flower girl was Lilly Grace McGregor and ring bearer was Liam McGregor.

Serving as best man was Patrick Fisher. Groomsmen were Reilly McGregor, Thomas McGregor, David Impastato, Edwin Mathews, Joseph Prendergast, Blaine Sanchez, Bret Posner, Matthew Roppolo and Marco Vaccarella.

A reception for family and friends was held immediately after the ceremony at The Madison Banquet and Reception Center in Broussard.

Following a wedding trip to Excellence Playa Mujeres, Cancun, Mexico, the couple will reside in Baton Rouge.
