Mrs. Joshua Boudreaux

Mary Ruth Lopez and Joshua Boudreaux were married Friday, October 27, 2017, at Nativity of Our Lady Catholic Church in New Iberia. The bride is the daughter of Mitchell Lopez of New Iberia and the late Tamie Desormeaux Lopez. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Boudreaux of New Iberia. The Rev. Mario Romero officiated the 6:30 p.m. ceremony.

Escorted by her father, the bride wore an elegant gown of ivory-colored lace and English net with bateau-style lace edging across an illusion neckline and slim silhouette. For her headpiece, she wore a single-tier, waist length, ivory-colored veil edged with beaded lace.

She carried a tight round cluster bouquet of white roses and dark red “Black Beauty” baby roses, seeded eucalyptus and dusty miller wrapped in an ivory-colored ribbon.

Serving as matron of honor was Mrs. Shelly L. Robichaux of Youngsville, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Mrs. Virginia St. Germain, sister of the bride and Miss Talitha Beech, sister-in-law of the bride. Flower girl was Lillian Robichaux, niece of the bride escorted by Chase Lopez, nephew of the bride and Owen Boudreaux, nephew of the groom. Serving as ring bearer was Thomas Lopez, nephew of the bride.

Serving as best man was Jared Boudreaux, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Brach Lopez, brother of the bride and Jordan Boudreaux, brother of the groom. Cameron Fremin and Carter Olivier, cousins of the groom served as ushers.

A reception for family and friends was held immediately after the ceremony at La Louisiane Banquet Hall in New Iberia.

Following a wedding trip to Exuma in the Bahamas, the couple will reside in New Iberia.
