A view from a garden earns top New Iberia Garden Club honors

- The New Iberia Garden Club has awarded November Business Garden of the Month to Caribbean Ice Co. Pam (pictured) and Skip Shensky, owners, with the assistance of Stokes Landscaping has refreshed and planted colorful fall Crotons, Mums, dwarf Sunflowers, accent shrubbery, and an array of herbs growing to use in their restaurant in the beds.
The New Iberia Garden Club has awarded November Business Garden of the Month to Caribbean Ice Co. located at 2905 Loreauville Rd.
The intense heat of this summer months in the raised beds was harsh on the plants.
Pam and Skip Shensky, owners, with the assistance of Stokes Landscaping has refreshed and planted colorful fall Crotons, Mums, dwarf Sunflowers, accent shrubbery, and an array of herbs growing to use in their restaurant in the beds.
Raised beds are an excellent choice when ground space is limited.
The New Iberia Garden Club is a member the Louisiana Garden Club Federation, Inc., District III, LGCF State Garden Club, Inc. and National Garden Clubs, Inc.
