Chick-fil-A is known for a lot of things, including good food and a unique Chick-fil-A Drive-Thru Innovation that allows over 100 cars per hour to quickly go through the line.
In New Iberia, Chick-fil-A is also known for two beautiful floral sections that were designed and planted by the franchise owner.
Austin Milke, the owner of the Chick-fil-A on 1116 Admiral Doyle Drive took on the project with his wife, Amy.
As a result, the Azalea Garden Club has awarded the Iberia Beautification Award for April to the Chick-fil-A at 1116 Admiral Doyle Drive.
Roxy Blanton of the Azalea Garden Club said the Milke’s designed and planted two sections with white shrub roses and two sections with azaleas, snapdragons and dusty millers.
There are various box hedges, flax lilies, sunshine ligustrum, and marinas along with many trees that line the perimeter.
Azalea is a member of District III, Louisiana Garden Club Federation Inc., Deep South Garden Clubs Inc., and National Garden Clubs Inc.
