Shadows-on-the-Teche will once again be inviting vendors of all kinds to the historic grounds as the annual Spring Arts and Crafts Fair takes place March 2.

The event serves as a fundraiser for Shadows-on-the-Teche, which in recent years has increased its programming along with providing the historical information and tours of the plantation home.

The Arts and Crafts Fair regularly brings more than 100 vendors to downtown New Iberia where event-goers can peruse the various selections that range from food and clothing to bird houses and artwork.

The fair is one of two fairs that Shadows-on-the-Teche annually hosts, along with a Fall Arts and Crafts Fair.

Vendors from around Louisiana will be on-site to display and sell their original work. A variety of hand-crafted products will be available for sale along with desserts, food and beverages.

Admission for the event is $5 per person and free for children under 12. Raffle tickets will be sold with all prizes donated by vendors.

The event takes place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on March 2.
