The New Iberia Police Department has released the identity of the suspect involved in a December 19 shooting that left a 16-year-old victim dead.

Landon Joseph Jackson, 19, of New Iberia is wanted for First Degree Murder, Attempted First Degree Murder, Illegal Use of Weapons, and Illegal Carrying of Weapons.

Anyone with information on Jackson’s whereabouts or information related to the crime should contact the NIPD immediately. Information can be submitted anonymously by calling the NIPD at 337-369-2306 or the Iberia Parish Crimestoppers at 337-364-TIPS.
