The historic “Papa Red Dog” Mardi Gras parade took place in Loreauville on Tuesday, with large crowds lining both sides of Main Street.

The Loreauville High School marching band was in attendance to perform their greatest hits alongside several floats, cars, trucks, trailers and all-terrain vehicles. Food and drinks were offered by several vendors. 

Arielle Collins of Village Pharmacy in Loreauville served as the parade’s Grand Marshall.
