The St. Mary Parish Chamber of Commerce will be honoring the lead educators and students in St. Mary Parish with the chamber’s Education Appreciation Steak Dinner and Auction on June 20.

The event will honor those in education who worked hard for the betterment of St. Mary schools and will include the 2024 scholarship recipients and a celebration of Educator of the Year and Student of the Year.

A delicious prime rib from The Smoke House is also promised for those who attend, as well as an auction that will bid enticing items as part of a fundraiser.

All proceeds from the event will directly benefit the annual scholarship program for graduating senior from each high school across St. Mary Parish and South Louisiana Community College.

Ideas for auction items include travel, experiences, vineyard tour, restaurant gift certificates, grilling, jewelry, outdoor furniture, local art, bounce house rentals and much more.
