Dawn Suire Pellerin

Funeral services will be celebrated for Dawn Suire Pellerin, 35, on Wednesday, July 13, 2011, at 2 p.m. at First Assembly of God Church in New Iberia. Pastor Paul Neel will officiate. Interment will follow in Holy Family Cemetery.

A gathering of family and friends will be held at Evangeline Funeral Home on Wednesday from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m.

A native and lifelong resident of New Iberia, Dawn passed away on Saturday, July 9, 2011, at Iberia Medical Center, with her family at her side.

Dawn was born January 6, 1976, to Wilton “Nacco” Suire and Dorothy “Dot” Suire and was one of six children. She attended Assembly Christian Academy and later graduated from the Golden State Academy.

Dawn worked for over 12 years with Rudy’s Cleaners in New Iberia. Outside of work, Dawn was an avid deer hunter, enjoyed fishing and spending time with her family.

Survivors include her husband of 19 years, Perry “Joe” Pellerin Jr., of New Iberia; her daughter Bailie Rene Pellerin of New Iberia; father, Wilton “Nacco” Suire of New Iberia; one sister and five brothers Belinda Suire Migues and husband, Walter, Randal “Randy” Suire and wife, Janice, Ernest Keith Suire and wife, Marvie, Troy Suire and wife, Kristie, all of New Iberia, Wilton “Kini” Suire Jr. and wife, Lillian, of Catahoula and Kenny Suire and wife, Shelly, of Scott; mother- and father-in-law, Perry Pellerin Sr. and Cheryl Boutte Pellerin, of New Iberia; brothers- and sister-in-law, Richard Boutte, Chris Pellerin and Chelsea Pellerin; and numerous nieces, nephews and dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Dorothy Perrin “Dot” Suire.

Serving as pallbearers will be Troy, Kenny, Keith, Tyler and Mitchell Suire, Gary “T-Boy” Smith and Huey “Bozo” Duplantis.
