Deborah Boutte

Funeral services for Deborah Linda Boutte will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 20, 2016 at St. Nicholas Catholic Church in Lydia.

Deborah was born on Aug. 14, 1954, and departed this life on Monday, Aug. 15, 2016, in Opelousas.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Warren and Verna Sigue, and her sister, Donna Sigue.  Left behind to cherish in her memory is her daughter Nina Boutte of New Orleans, her stepsons Michael Boutte and David Boutte, four grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and one godchild, Channell Sigue DeRouen.

Deborah is survived by two sisters, Diane Cooper and Dinah Strauss; six brothers, Norbert Sigue, James Sigue, John Sigue, Patrick Sigue, Wesley Sigue and Troy Sigue; two nieces, Brandy Sigue and Meagan Strauss; four nephews, Gerald Strauss, Jacques Strauss, Matthew Levo and James Sigue, Jr;  six great nieces and nephews, Sierra, Ethan, Jianna, Jacques, Jr, Maleah and Beaux and numerous friends and family.  She was a member of the Holy Name Society.

She will be greatly missed.
