New Iberia Senior High held its annual Tabasco Relays on Friday, featuring teams from around the state. Cecilia claimed the top spot for the boys’ competition with 84 points, followed by Carencro with 78.75 and Alexandria with 72. Alexandria won the girls’ competition with a score of 144 points, followed by Ponchatoula with 68 points and Lafayette with 67 points.

In the boys’ competition, NISH placed sixth with 58 points, Westgate placed 11TH with 11.75 points, and Highland finished in 12TH place with 5 points. In the girls’ competition, NISH finished in fifth place with 43 points. Westgate placed seventh with 36 points, and Highland placed ninth with 30 points.
