ANNUAL MEMORIAL SERVICE

The pastor, officers and members of Mt. Olive Baptist Church No. 1 invites the public to its Annual Memorial Service.

The service will be held on Sunday, May 1, starting at 10 a.m. at the church, located at 6519 Chastant Road in New Iberia.

Rev. Donald Wright, pastor of Star Pilgrim Baptist Church in New Iberia, will deliver the memorial message.

Attendees are asked to bring flowers and/or a photo in memory of a dearly departed loved one. All servicemen and family names in attendance will also be honored.

The church is welcoming any donations in memory of the departed. If you are unable to attend but would still like to contribute a monetary donation, that can be done by sending it to P.O. Box 14221 in New Iberia, 70560.

Masks must be worn inside the church.

Celebration for years of service

The First Church of God in Christ Family will be honoring Bishop James W. and Dr. Ezora J. Proctor for their 46 years of servitude at the church.

A celebration will be held on Thursday, April 28, and Friday, April 29. Service will begin at 7 p.m. nightly. The church is located at 1901 Martin Luther King Drive in Jeanerette.

The keynote speaker will be Dr. James F. Scott Jr of Atlanta, Ga., and New York, N.Y.
