A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, January 21, 2019, at Martin and Castille Funeral Home-Southside, for Ansley “Sonny” Landry, 74, who passed away on Sunday evening, January 13, 2019, at The Carpenter House in Lafayette. The family will receive guests on Monday, January, 21, 2019 from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m. with a Rosary prayed at 4 p.m.

Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Linda Louviere Landry; his son Bowen “Bo” Landry and wife Rachel; two granddaughters Payton Landry and Remi Landry; his brothers Ricky and Carol Landry; and his two sisters, Patsy Elmore and Beverly Hargett.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ansley Landry Sr. and Edna Leleux Landry; his sister Ruby Landry; and his in-laws Morris Louviere and Edna “Momma” Louviere.

A heartfelt appreciation is extended by Sonny’s family to everyone who has been so supportive and caring during his illness.
