A Celebration of life for Wayne Armelin will be held on Saturday, December 30, 2017, at 11 a.m. at Special Providence Baptist Church in Baldwin. Rev W.J. Otis will officiate the service.

Visitation will be Saturday, December 30, 2017, from 9 a.m. until the commencement of the funeral service at Special Providence Baptist Church.

He will be interred in Sacred Heart Catholic Church Cemetery in Baldwin.

Wayne, affectionately known as “Camp,” was born on January 5, 1969, to the late Julian Armelin and Lillie Gabriel Armelin in Baldwin. He passed away on December 27, 2017, at the age of 48.

Left to cherish his memories is his wife, Jualea Armelin, of Jeanerette; one son Wayne Armelin Jr. of Baldwin; four daughters Ashley Spain of Lake Charles, Abrianna Armelin of Baldwin, Tondria Armelin of Baldwin and Hallie Armelin of Baldwin; one stepson Malachi Only of Jeanerette; one brother Anthony Armelin of  New Iberia; one sister Judy Rideaux of Baldwin; four grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother Averist Armelin.
