Hollie Anne Broussard

A Mass of Christian burial will be conducted  for Hollie Anne Broussard, 33, at 3:30 p.m. Friday, February 9, 2018, at St. Peter’s Catholic Church with the Rev. Alexander Albert officiating. Interment will follow in Holy Family Cemetery.

A native and resident of New Iberia, Ms. Broussard died Tuesday, February 6, 2018, at her residence.

Hollie was a graduate of the NISH class of 2002. She was very creative, enjoyed music, reading and was an excellent writer. Hollie enjoyed spending time with her family and her children were the love of her life and she cherished every moment spent with them.

She is survived by her sons Gabe Michael Phillips and Matthew Jude Broussard of New Iberia; her parents, Mark and Cindy Bujard Broussard, of New Iberia; one sister, Jeannie Claire Hebert and husband, Scott, of Broussard; one brother, Andrew Broussard of Dallas; her nephews and niece Talen, Amalie and Noah Hebert; maternal grandparents, Dr. Burt M. and Corinne Conrad Bujard, of New Iberia; maternal aunts and uncles Sharon Molbert of New Iberia, Fran Bice of Lake Charles, Conrad and Michelle Bujard of New Orleans, Burt Bujard Jr. of New Iberia, Jeff and Lisa Durand of St. Martinville, Corrine Rubin of Arizona, William and Katy Bujard and Martin J. Bujard, all of New Iberia; paternal aunt and uncles James and Karen Broussard of Sunset, Phillip and Michele Broussard of Youngsville, Liz and Arch Higgins of Covington and Kathy and Dale Decuir of Abbeville; and numerous cousins and friends.

Ms. Broussard was preceded in death by her brother, Blake Anthony Broussard; maternal great-grandparents, Alton and Goldie Bujard and Wilfred and Olive Conrad; paternal grandparents, Lovelace M. and Gertie B. Broussard; a cousin, John Thomas Bice; and her uncle and godfather, Dr. Mark Molbert.

Pallbearers will be members of the family.
