If physical fitness is a priority for you, and if you’re looking for new, fun challenges to help you stay in shape, check out the NIKE Training Club app for women. With more than 100 workouts that can done individually or packaged into a weeks-long workout, this app offers both instruction and motivation. Workouts vary in length, starting at 15 minutes, and are demonstrated by fitness trainers and world-class female athletes (Serena Williams and Maria Sharapova, to name a couple) through videos and other visuals. The app uses your own music library and audio guidance for extra support, incentive and motivation. We especially like the program trophies and progress bar that help us keep track of our achievements and keep us on track for what’s up next. Cost: Free.

Argus®

Argus is the ultimate everything fitness app, putting everything you want to keep track of in one easy location. Monitor your running/walking, cycling and driving with the GPS feature. Take pictures of your meals to remind yourself what you really ate for that snack. Keep track of beverage intake, heart rate and sleep cycles. The app monitors all of this and more (it’s even compatible with other third-party wearable devices), and then produces charts that help you to better understand your health and fitness habits. We especially like the ability to interact with friends, as an added accountability to your fitness. Cost: Free.
