A Home-going celebration will be held for Martha Ann Davis Arceneaux, 77, Saturday, November 4, 2017, at 11 a.m. at Saint Edward Roman Catholic Church with Father Thomas Vu as celebrant.

She will await the resurrection in Saint Edward Roman Catholic Church Cemetery in New Iberia.

A gathering of family and friends will begin on Saturday at 7:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home with a Rosary to be recited at 9 a.m.

A native and resident of New Iberia, she passed away at 12:30 a.m. Thursday, October 26, 2017, at her residence.

Martha accepted Christ as her Savior and was a faithful member of Saint Edward Roman Catholic Church.

She leaves to cherish her memory, one son Gregory Allen Arceneaux (Sandy) of New Iberia; her grandchildren Gregory Allen Arceneaux Jr., Joshua Allen Arceneaux, Madison Alyce Arceneaux and Ty’Riana Triniece Wilson (Daryl B. Hampton) whom she raised like a daughter; and one great-granddaughter Madeline Ann Jones.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Birdy Davis Arceneaux; and her daughter Pamela Marie Arceneaux.

Active pallbearers will be Gregory Allen Jones, Joshua Allen Arceneaux, Kenneth Anderson, Wyndell Washington, Archie Triggs Sr. and Daryl Bernard Hampton.

Honorary pallbearers will be Gregory Allen Arceneaux, Dennis Williams and Harold Bobb.

Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Fletcher Funeral Home, 609 W. Admiral Doyle Drive, New Iberia, LA 70560.
