Black Infusions elevates vodka with the simple pleasure of cherries
With the release this month of a new Dark Cherry variety of fruit-infused vodka, Black Infusions offers another simply-made, inspired choice for your cocktails.
Made with California-grown dried Bing and Ranier cherries, each bottle contains approximately one pound dried (that’s seven pounds fresh) fruit. The taste offers a balance of rich fruit and acidity but with a tannin-structured finish.
Now is “a time when consumers are looking for fewer ingredients and less alcohol,” said Michael Davidson, Black Infusions CEO. “Bartenders are also thrilled by the new addition. All of the Black Infusions products offer tremendous flavor and texture without added sugar.”
Dark Cherry is the third flavor in the series, following Black Fig and Gold Apricot. All three are made with the simplest ingredients — vodka and lots of dried fruit. According to Davidson, they were inspired by a tradition of the old-fashioned but effective method of steeping real fruit in neutral spirits made from corn.
By itself on the rocks, or used to add a twist to classic cocktails where vodka isn’t typically featured — from Margaritas to Manhattans — Black Infusion’s Dark Cherry will make a distinctive mark on your cocktail hour.
