Family and friends will share memories of Kenneth Wayne Morrogh, 75, at 6 p.m. on Monday, June 10, 2019, at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia.
Interment will be at a later date.
Visitation will be Monday from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia.
Kenneth Wayne Morrogh was born in Alexandria on January 12, 1944, to the late Dr. Earl Morrogh and Lillian Stolberg Morrogh and passed away on June 3, 2019, in New Iberia. He proudly served our country in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. He attended LSU and received his Bachelor of Science and Masters of Business Administration Degrees from USL. He was a Software Engineer for Southern Structures and Methods, Inc. Kenneth was an accomplished cook who loved collecting and trying new recipes. He enjoyed working in his vegetable and flower garden and loved photography, music and reading. He especially loved reading about different food cultures, wines and coffees. Kenneth was a Member and Past President of both the Ancient Order Creole Gourmets and the New Iberia Optimist Club and was also Past Vice President of St. Francis Diner.
Survivors include his wife, Bonita Hebert Morrogh of New Iberia; sons Sean Morrogh and wife Heather of Leander, Texas and Colin Morrogh of New Orleans; stepson Dwight DuBose and spouse Theresa of New Iberia; brother Earl “Noonsie” Morrogh Jr. and wife Judye of Quincy, Florida; sisters Judith M. Axthelm and husband Steve of Grand Junction, Colorado, and Stephanie M. Tighe of Johns Creek, Georgia; grandchildren London Morrogh and Donovan Morrogh; step-grandchildren Lindsey DuBose, Zachary DuBose and Patrick Tainter; sand tep-great-granchildren Ronon Tainter, Layla Tainter and Valor Tainter.
He was preceded in death by his father, Dr. Earl Morrogh; and mother, Lillian Morrogh.
