Man dies from gun shot wounds
A man who was left in critical condition after a shooting last month has died.
According to Iberia Parish Sheriff’s Office spokesman Maj. Wendell Raborn, 27-year-old Ian Jones died Wednesday after being taken from Lafayette to New Orleans for medical treatment.
Jones was shot on the 100 Ambassador West Lemelle Drive at approximately 4 a.m. on Feb. 20.
Joshua Raved, 29, was arrested at the time for attempted second degree murder. Raborn said Raved will now be charged with second degree murder.
