New Iberia Councilman Marlon Lewis and several other local barbers are lending their talents to help area students start their new year with a fresh haircut.

“We just want to be that vessel that continuously supply those services to our youth and the underserved in our community when they can’t afford to get a haircut,” Lewis said.

Three local barber shops are supplying a barber to help with the free service they include: No Limit Hair Design, Twins Beauty Shop and Marlon’s Barber Shop. 

The free cuts will take place at No Limit Hair Design at 1101 Field Street from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. this Sunday August 12.
