Jeanerette Mayor Aprill Foulcard, her brother, Iberia Parish Councilman Berwick Francis, her sister, Antigone Anthony, and their mother, Jacqueline Francis, were jailed Monday morning after turning themselves into the East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office, according to television reports.

All four were booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Jail on charges of racketeering, conspiracy, Medicaid fraud and money laundering.

The family members were indicted Thursday in a Baton Rouge court for racketeering and Medicaid fraud.

The company JABA Enterprises also was named in the indictment.

No bond has been set as of deadline Monday.
