Four valedictorians, 1 salutatorian in Hanson’s Class of ’18
FRANKLIN — Thirty seven Hanson Memorial students have reached the end of their high school journey and will be celebrated at 3 p.m. Sunday at the Church of the Assumption in Franklin.
Finishing at the top of their graduating class are four co-valedictorians: Jacob Adams, Samantha Bertrand, Mackenzie Guillotte, and Allyssa Young, all of whom have a 4.0 GPA. This year’s salutatorian at Hanson is Jordyn Baudoin.
Adams is the son of Gary and Sandi Adams. His career at Hanson involved National Honor Society, BETA Club, being the football manager, track, student council, altar server, theater and choir.
Adams future plans include attending Louisiana Tech to major in biomedical engineering.
Bertrand is the daughter of Tom and Lisa Bertrand. She is involved in National Honor Society and pep squad.
Adams plans to attend University of New Orleans and major in marketing.
Guillotte, daughter of Dwayne and Tammy Guillotte, has stayed active with cheerleading, National Honor Society and serving as Pro-Life President.
Guillotte plans to attend Nicholls and major in nursing.
Young, daughter of Brent and Lisa Young, has spent her high school years heavily involved with athletics as a member of the basketball and softball teams and a football statistician. She is also a member of the National Honor Society and choir
Young plans to attend University of Texas-Tyler and major in biology
Baudoin is the daughter of Timmy and Stephanie Baudoin. She is ending her high school career with a 3.9 GPA. Baudoin was involved in cheerleading, National Honor Society, and track.
Her future plans include attending UL Lafayette and majoring in nursing.
