The beautifully manicured flower gardens of Barry and Glenda Drexler located at 400 Loreauville Road has been awarded July Garden of the Month by the New Iberia Garden Club.

Their flowerbeds along the front entranceway have Yaupon Topiaries, pruned Boxwoods and Little Gem boxwoods, Italian Cypress trees, Drift Roses, Floribunda Roses, potted containers of Coleus’, Sweet Potato vines, and Petunias. Surrounding their large Live oak are colorful Caladiums bordered with Little Gem Boxwoods.

Horticultural Hint: Water early morning before the heat of the day. This allows more water to soak into the soil and personally stay hydrated to avoid exhaustion and use sunscreen.
