The Jeanerette Little League All-Stars are preparing to play in district tournaments in Lafayette in June.

The JLL 9- and 10-year-old All-Stars will play July 8-10. Other teams in the district are Baldwin, New Iberia and Lafayette. Preferred Electric Inc. is sponsoring the Jeanerette 9- and 10-year-old team.

Team members include, alphabetically Elton Alexander (catcher/second base), Dentric August (right field), Kaden Barrett (catcher/shortstop), Kentrelle Beasley (center field), JaCorrie Benoit (center field), Ryan Courville Jr. (third base), Joseph Curry (right field), Gary Gilbert (second base), Jayden Hopes (right field), Ty’Aaron Jenkins (center field), Travis Jordan (shortstop/catcher), Daniel Key Jr. (pitcher/first base), Gage Landry (left field), Bre’Land Lenford (left field) and Camerson Molaison (left field).

Coaches for the 9- and 10-year-olds are Jeffrey Barrett, Travis Hudson and Lawrence Jordan.

Jeanerette’s 11- and 12-year-old also will play July 8-10 in Lafayette, with New Iberia, Baldwin and Lafayette competing.

JLL All-Star members include  Tyrese Batiste (pitcher/first base), Kolby Deshotel (right field), Tyrese Gilbert (center field), Travis Hudson (pitcher/first base), De’Andrick Keal (left field), Dy’Vontra Key (pitcher/shortstop), Samson Landry (second base), Hunter Molaison (catcher), Donta Polidore (third base) and Quandrick Robinson (shortstop/third base). Three alternates will be named later.

Coaches for the 11- and 12-year-old All-Stars include Troy JohnLouis, Wayne Eugene and Kazanski Colar.
