Margaret LeBlanc, 76, passed away on July 12, 2019 at 9:46 p.m. at Belle Teche nursing home. “Maggie” as she was known by family and friends was a lifelong resident of New Iberia. She was born to Sullie and Elma Broussard on October 12, 1942, in Jeanerette. She was a retired cosmetologist and also created cakes and catered many weddings throughout Iberia Parish.  

She is survived in life by her sister Marie Espinosa; children Darron LeBlanc and wife, Stephanie Ellender LeBlanc, Balisa Viator and husband, Ricky Viator and Mark LeBlanc and wife, Wendy Parsons LeBlanc. She is also survived by her 12 grandchildren Shelly LeBlanc Landry and husband, Ryan, Brittany LeBlanc Borill and husband, Jake, Grant Viator, Rick Viator, Beth Viator, Bret Viator, Gerald Viator and wife Mandy, Gwen Viator, Lucy Angelle and husband, Rex, Zachary LeBlanc, Alexis LeBlanc and Joshua LeBlanc; and her nine great-grandchildren Reily Viator, Ethan Viator, Jordan Angelle, Briel Angelle, Jaxson Cronin, Kaden Cronin, Ava Viator, Brinley Viator and Paxton Romero.  

She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Wilton “Red’’ LeBlanc and both of her parents.  

There will be no services for Margaret as the family is grieving from their loss and rejoicing in the fact that she is no longer suffering.
