Corn and Cheese Muffinettes

1 cup cornmeal
1 large onion

1/2 teaspoon salt
3 pods jalapeño peppers, chopped
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 can creamed corn
2 eggs
1/2 pound cheese, grated

3/4 cup milk
1/2 cup cooking oil
Mix all of the ingredients together.
Pour approximately 1/4 cup mixture into each muffin cup.
Bake 20 minutes at 350 degrees until golden brown.
