Pecan Cocoons

1 cup butter

1/3 cup sugar

2 teaspoons water

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

2 cups all purpose flour

1 cup pecans chopped

Confectioner’s sugar

Cream butter and sugar together in mixing bowl. Add the water and vanilla and mix well. Cover and chill dough in refrigerator for 20 to 30 minutes. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Shape dough into small balls. Bake on an ungreased baking sheet until slightly golden, about 20 minutes. Cool slightly and roll cookies in confectioner’s sugar.
