Dead Yeast Society

The Iberia Parish Library Homebrew Club will present a class on brewing techniques and sample from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. May 5 at the St. Peter Branch, 1111 W. St. Peter St. Must be 21 or older to attend. Register at 364-7670.

Spring Book Sale

Iberia Parish Friends of the Libary will sponsor the Spring Book Sale, for everything except paperback books, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. May 6 and 7 at the Main Branch, 445 E. Main St. Call 364-7024.

Summer Workshops

Annual registration week for Summer Workshops will be May 8 through 14 during Main Branch hours. Workshop booklets are now available at all branches or online at IberiaLibrary.org. Children ages 5 to 17 will have a lot of activities to choose from and all workshops are free of charge. The summer performers schedule will be available soon. The summer workshops are sponsored the Iberia Parish Friends of the Library, Community First Bank, Cox Communications and Iberia Parish Optimist Club.

 Board Games

Tired of playing solitaire? Classic and new board games will be played from 4 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. May 2 for ages 16 and up. Teen Board Game Night will be held from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. May 16 for ages 11 to 17. Family Board Game Night will be in June. Watch for more information.
