The Grand 10 – New Iberia is shortening its days of operation, according to a social media post the theater posted last week. 

The local movie theater announced Thursday that starting immediately, its days of operation would be Thursday through Sunday. The theater previously was open seven days per week. 

Messages left this past week to Southern Theaters for more information about the change were unanswered before deadline Sunday. 

The Grand Theater has been in operation in New Iberia since 2005, when Southern Theaters bought out Regal Entertainment for use of the building on North Lewis Street.
