Diplomas to 77 at Jeanerette High

Jeanerette High School’s Class of 2018 marched through its auditorium with a sense of accomplishment and many smiles to signify a happy ending to their high school careers. Seventy-seven students graduated Monday night.They were led by Kody Ragine Ceaser, valedictorian,  and Caylie LaJaunie, salutatorian. This year’s Class Motto was “That diploma you hold in your hands today is really just your learner’s permit for the rest of the drive through life. Remember, you don’t have to be smarter than the next person. All you have to do is be willing to work harder than the next person.” — Jimmy Lovine.
